MADONNA

I was promising to Lille Skvat (http://lilleskvat.blogspot.com) to let her know my favourites songs from Madonna... I was trying to chose some but (as always) the list is so long.... so I will show you some videos that I love from her. I think that Madonna is more a phenomenon than music. She has a strong personality and she is reinventing herself through the times. Her music is very optimistic, also sometimes shouting against the system. You can value herself for the singer she is or for more things, but noone can deny that her music, at least, is Unique! I wish you will enjoy this....

TRAVELLING GUIDE: TARIFA & BOLONIA - CÁDIZ

In the following week I will upload some pictures about the travels I've made last july 2009. I wish you will enjoy the travelling through.... SUMMER TIME IN SEVILLE...

It is said that in Seville (Spain) it's very hot hot hot weather in summer time... well, this is not totally truth but... what we can do in summer time? First of all I will send some photos from last july in Seville... and then you will understand why we are not melting... (if you love waterfall.... and fountains.... I hope you will enjoy this!)... :)

COME BACK FROM VACATIONS!

I came back from vacations some days ago and still did't have time enough to write a word... Still recovering myself from the great time I had and now... it is a little bit hard... I am missing a lot.... And today I've found a song that it's remembering me the thing I am missing more and more.... So no more words, just a song....

Imagine -just for one second, although it could be a little bit hard and a nightmare...- that the future could make a step back.... yes! it is true! it could come if we are not more wise... and think about the importance of using our voice... and go to vote always! to claim for our rights to have a strong social system for Anyone! not only for a few...

ONE YEAR...

ONE year could looks like a little time... because we use to say that "times literally flies!" or, in another hand, one year could be a long time to do a lot of things and pass by very, very slow... What is your situation regarding this question?

POESIA.... One of my poems

In 1998, I wrote a poem named "DELETE". The main theme was the way our memory sometimes is trying to forget the remeinders more painful for us. I was making a comparision (a methafore) with this. I was also translating it to english and one friend of mine helped me with the italian translation. I hope you will enjoy this... Also I would like to know more about what is (in general) your favourite poems? Do you have any recommendation? :)

LEARNING ENGLISH

Sometimes it is very difficult to express yourself in another language. I am trying to learn english and danish and maybe someday... with a little bit patience and many work I will be able to speak (more or less) properly... meanwhile I will write this blog in my born language: spanish... :)

I would like to show you the funny situation that some spanish people have to face regarding mistakes with the language... In my life I also made mistakes similar to the ones you will watch on those videos from Fawlty Towers. This is a serial from the BBC around the 70's and there is a hotel with a very british owner (the Boss) and Manuel is a spanish man from Barcelona... he is very funny trying to learn and speak english. I adore him! Go ahead and enjoy!

OBAMA con Andalucía, un ejemplo de tolerancia y multiculturalidad

El presidente de los Estados Unidos de América, Barack Hussein Obama,ha visitado recientemente El Cairo (Egipto) y ha puesto como ejemplo de convivencia tolerante entre diferentes religiones el caso de Andalucía, y particularmente la situación en Córdoba, en los tiempos tras la reconquista por los católicos de las tierras que durante más de ocho siglos ocuparon los árabes. En ese periodo, judios, cristianos y munsulmanes convivían de forma pacífica y tolerante. Se aprendió a respetar al vecino, independientemente de sus creencias o forma de vida. El respeto hacia la multiculturalidad y la diversidad fue el ejemplo de que todo es posible si aprendemos a conocer y respetar nuestras diferencias. A veces es más lo que nos une... Empecemos a conocernos más y, compartamos o no las mismas ideas, seamos respetuosos y tolerantes.

Descubriendo nueva música ¿has escuchado lo último desde Dinamarca?

Suelo escuchar mucha música, de todos los estilos, de mucha nacionalidades, pero últimamente estoy descubriendo (gratamente) muchísimas voces nuevas (al menos para mi) :) que creo que son estupendas y me gustaría compartir con vosotros... ¿tenéis alguna favorita? Las que vais a escuchar a continuación proceden de Dinamarca... Hay una cantante danesa además que adoro, Sussie Nielsen, pero sólo se la puede escuchar en myspace....

Para todo hay un principio, un momento en la vida en el cual nos parece que la existencia de ese momento hace cambiar el rumbo de todo lo que somos y seremos. A veces, ese principio se puede identificar claramente con una canción, con un hecho puntual, con una visita a un determinado lugar, con acciones tales como conocer a una persona, etc. ¿Puedes decirme qué cosa te hizo cambiar de rumbo? Seguro que nos sorprenderíamos si hiciéramos una lista con esas pequeñas-grandes cosas que nos anclaron a algo o a alguien tal vez... para siempre.
